Baku High-Rise I

Flexible Living with Iconic Form
Shaped like a six-leaf clover, the tower offers independent residential units that can be combined for spatial flexibility, each oriented toward either the Caspian Sea or Baku’s skyline. At its base, retail spaces and landscaped courtyards create a lively connection to the city, while vertical townhouses reinterpret high-rise living with the intimacy of garden villas.
A lace-like façade provides solar shading and wind protection, responding to Baku’s climate while giving the tower its sculptural elegance. Designed as a fluid architectural organism across a tripartite site, the project blends continuity, organic geometry, and contextual sensitivity into a singular urban landmark.
GAD Foundation works to positively affect practice and theory in architecture and urbanism with a focus on education, society and their intersection with architecture and urbanism.
