Winka Dubbeldam Talks on Architectural Education During Quarantine

 

Architect Winka Dubbeldam, Miller Chair of Architecture at the Weitzmann School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania spoke on education in  architecture during the Covid quarantine. Speaking on GAD Foundation’s Instagram Live channel with architecture critic Gokhan Karakus, Dubbeldam commented on the increased opportunities provided by digital tools that allowed for continuity despite the close of on-campus classes. Dubbeldam remarked that  a wider array of critics participated in online juries and more specific discussions were facilitated by digital communication tools as an interesting iteration of  architecture education in this period.
