Gokhan Avcioglu Comments on Recent Architecture Competitions in Istanbul for Yapi Magazine

Addressing the recent series of architectural competitions run by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Gokhan Avcigolu stressed the need for more long term planning and execution of these architecture projects. He commented “These competitions should be undertaken in the scope of master planning of the city of Istanbul. More so these competitions should be open to a wider international participation with experts in each field.”
