GAD participated at MIPIM Cannes

Gokhan Avcioglu, Yusuf Cavdar, Idil Ozturk participated at MIPIM which is the world's leading Real Estate Event, where it took a place in Cannes between March 11-14. Real Estate Fair 2025 in Cannes, France, by presenting its work at a special exhibition at the stand of the Federation of Architects of Turkey. GAD has present to showcasing our projects, interacting with industry leaders and exploring new collaboration opportunities on an international platform.

GAD Architecture Wins 2025 Green GOOD DESIGN® Award for Sustainable and Hospitality "Cappadocia Karlık Spa Hotel" Project in Nevsehir

Congratulations to GAD Architecture on winning the 2025 Green GOOD DESIGN® Award for the project "Cappadocia Karlık Spa Hotel"! This prestigious award, presented by The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, highlights the world's most important manufacturers and design firms with a focus on sustainable design and environmental stewardship. The award recognizes GAD's contribution to sustainable architecture and design, contributing to a more ecologically responsible future with the design of the Karlık Spa Hotel project in Cappadocia.

Yıldız Technical University Construction Club Organized the CIVILISTANBUL'25 Event

The CIVILISTANBUL'25 event was held from February 25-28th at the YTU Davutpaşa Congress and Culture Center. On February 26th, Gokhan Avcioglu met with Yıldız Technical University students for the "Architectural New World" session. Avcioglu provided participants with a unique experience through the themes of disaster, human, technology, and energy. Students and faculty members engaged in a fruitful dialogue with Avcioglu, exchanging ideas about GAD Architecture and contemporary architecture in Turkey.

Yıldız Technical University Construction Club Architecture Students Came to Visit Gad Park on February 27th


Yildiz Technical University Construction Club's 2nd and 3rd year students visited Gad Architecture on February 27th. The visit was organized to help students put their theoretical knowledge of architectural design and construction processes into practice. As a prominent architectural office known for its innovative designs and sustainable building solutions, Gad offered a valuable learning experience for the students. During the visit, the students received detailed information about the office's projects and had the opportunity to have conversations about the creative processes used in the world of architecture. Gad's remarkable projects demonstrated how architecture blends as well as aesthetics and the functionality.

Elif Ergu, who talked with Gokhan Avcioglu about new settlement models rather than projects, established the GAD Foundation 10 years ago and works with young people and researchers at the foundation. He plans not only in Turkey yet worldwide new settlement models from Urfa to Tashkent. A conversation took place that extended to sustainability, the use of robots in the field, history, culture and, in fact, the deep-rooted past in every place we step into.

Gokhan Avcioglu and Idil Ozturk Participated in the Europe-Turkey Trade and Investment Council Event

The European-Turkish Trade and Investment Council (ETTIC) welcomed the New Year with a prestigious reception at the Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul, attended by its members and key diplomatic-economic European networks, including German Ambassador to Türkiye H.E. Sybille Katharina Sorg. Turkish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs, Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay, participated as the guest of honor. During the event, ETTIC President Dr. Markus C. Slevogt emphasized the importance of strengthening strategic alliances, particularly in light of upcoming challenges.

The reception was attended by distinguished figures such as Finland's Honorary Consul General and Vakko Board Member Jeff Hakko, GAD Architecture & GAD Foundation Founder Architect Gokhan Avcioglu, and Business Development Idil Ozturk. The event highlighted the role of architecture and design in international economic collaborations.
