Four Seasons Sales office / Bodrum

 

Four Seasons Sales office is located in Bodrum which is an Aegean, Mediterranean trade port settlement with a history of more than three thousand years, including Hellenistic, Roman and Ottoman epochs. The temporary function of the building is that of a sales office. After the opening, It is going to become a beach restaurant for the  Four Seasons Resort Hotel, Bodrum. The ideas behind the design are centered on the “explosion” of parts; open plan for outdoor living; passive ventilation and harmony with the landscape.

To overcome this and create a more flexible building type, the design team created a house made from three separate buildings – a metaphor for a single building that has been exploded into many parts. Each individual unit, which complies with the regulated size of 50-75 square meters, is built next to one another with a narrow space in between and is linked by a corridor.
