VII St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum was held in 2018 as the city’s annual festival of culture featuring events in the arts, from music, cinema, and theater to architecture and urban culture. The yearly program spread all over the city is organised by the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Government of Saint Petersburg.

Gokhan Avcioglu presented GAD's approach toward architectural renovation and preservation as a panelist on the "Strategic Management of Cultural Heritage" session held on November 14, 2019 at the Hermitage Museum. Avcioglu showed GAD projects such as Esma Sultan Mansion and the Borusan Music House as successful examples of the management of historical urban fabric in Turkey. The panel discussion also included Sergey Georgievskiy of CENTER Agency and the Russian Chair of the Heritage Council, the Union of Architects of Russia, and other prominent experts in historic preservation.
