Gokhan Avcioglu was interviewed in a far ranging discussion with the Milliyet newspaper’s architecture weekend magazine, Milliyet Mimarlik, 25 April, 2021. Yasemin Sener of Milliyet interviewed Avcioglu focusing on the architect’s theoretical approach and work at the GAD Foundation including the recent Alpaslan Ataman exhibition, the GAD Academy Certificate Program’s Live Project education, the young architect’s Treehouse Competition and the Foundation’s Research efforts in designs for Cappadocia. Avcioglu stressed the importance of architectural thought in design including technology, theory, science, context and narrative.
