Zeytinia, the Gourmet Food store chain, known with especially its Mediterranean products has opened its first New York flagship store with a totally new concept in terms of design and food selection in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Zeytinia name is derived from the word Zeytin which is one of the main products of Mediterranean kitchen. The architectural team GAD+SU11 has approached the store with a new experimental design. The public and food areas have been approached with a different sensibility. The design which allows to the clients to see all the products altogether and enjoy shopping. The space is an excellent combination of daylight and artificial light, and hundreds of products.
